Marathon/Half Marathon Training
Coach Robert Mills of Club26.2 will motivate and inspire you at every step while
preparing you to successfully complete the marathon or half marathon in Pasadena on
November 16, 2008! The 23-week training program is designed to accommodate runners and
walkers at various levels of experience—from first timers, to marathon veterans. Register to start training with us this weekend!
The benefits to participating in our training program are many!
- Weekly organized run/walks at designated
training sites—currently in Pasadena on Saturdays at 7:00 a.m., and Marina Del Rey
on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. (Weekday maintenance runs are completed independently.)
- Weekly training schedule
- Weekly email messages with Official Training Program Newsletter providing
information on injury prevention, stretching, cross-training, hydration, and
nutrition
- Special edition technical shirts exclusively for training program
participants
- Personal telephone and email consultations with Coach Robert Mills
- “Virtual Training” for participants living outside of the area, or for
those wishing to train independently
Pasadena MarathonSM Training Program fees are as follows:
- Until July 4th, $125 per person when two people register together
- Until July 4th, $175 per person when registering alone
- From July 5th through October 5th, $200 per person
