- How do I register?
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. CLICK HERE FOR SOLUTIONS. - Is there Race Day registration?
No, unfortunately we cannot process registrations on Race Day. - Is there Expo registration?
We will offer registration at The Great Race Place Expo for any event that has not sold out. Expo registration fees will be significantly higher than current fees, and because there are registration caps for all events, some events will sell out prior to the Expo. Don't risk it—register now! - How many miles is the Bike Tour?
Our Bike Tour is 26.2 miles. - Is the Bike Tour timed?
No, the Bike Tour is not a timed event. - Is there a Bike Tour training program?
Yes, we are offering a free training program in partnership with the Pasadena Triathlon Club. Click here for details. - How many people will participate in the Bike Tour?
Approximately 1500. - Is there a cap on how many people can participate in the Bike Tour?
Yes, there are registration caps for all events, and every year some Pasadena Marathon events sell out prior to the Expo. Avoid the disappointment of a sellout and save some money by registering early! - How long do I have to complete the Bike Tour?
Bike Tour participants must maintain a 9 minute/mile pace or faster. - What is the minimum participant age?
There is no minimum participant age for the Bike Tour. While we are confident in the safety of our racecourse, it should be noted that it will still be dark when the Bike Tour starts, and, following in the tradition of the Pasadena Marathon, roads may be slick due to precipitation. Parents are always ultimately responsible for the wellbeing of their children. Therefore, if you have concerns about your child's safety while participating in the Bike Tour, you should also register for the event in order to accompany your child. - What goodies do I get?
You will receive a tech shirt, bib, and a bunch of SWAG in your race packet. And, of course, you'll get a medal upon crossing the Finish! - What if I can't make it to the Expo?
If you know in advance that you won't be able to attend the Expo, and you did not select the VIP option, someone else may pick up your race packet at the Expo on your behalf. They will need to present a photocopy of your Driver's License, State or Military-issued ID card, or Student ID card in order to retrieve your materials. - Are there awards?
Every Bike Tour participant crossing the Finish Line gets a medal. Because this is an untimed event, we will not have overall and division awards. - Do I have to wear a helmet?
Yes, helmets are mandatory on the Bike Tour course. We also suggest lights and reflective gear. Safety first, and fun runs a close second! - Can I listen to music while I ride?
No, we do not permit any equipment that might impair your hearing. - Can I skate the distance instead of riding my bike?
No, bikes only, please. - What about directions to the Start, carpool options, parking, and other logistical info?
We understand that you're ready to map out your Race Weekend--but don't worry, we'll get lots of good information to you in the coming weeks.
