Train for the 2012 Bike Tour with Pasadena Triathlon Club & TriCentric Training

The Pasadena Marathon, in partnership with the Pasadena Triathlon Club (PTC) is pleased to offer a free bike training program to prepare you for the Bike Tour!  PTC will host an 8-week program leading up to Race Day on May 20. This program will include progressive training and clinics designed by Coach Brandon Heflin of TriCentric Training. This is an opportunity to join a supportive community of athletes and friends that will share this journey with you, as you improve your fitness and skill as a cyclist. Please note that we welcome self-sufficient cyclists of all ages. Youth under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult cyclist.

Training Schedule

A primary mission of PTC is to lead fun and safe group training sessions. Training with a group is a great way to get fit, meet new friends and motivate yourself to levels you wouldn’t even imagine on your own.  All of our club training sessions are free and open to members and non-members alike.  A kick-off party, meet and greet, will start the fun and answer questions on March 26th, 2012.

The coached Sunday ride training program for the Pasadena Marathon will start April 1st, 2012 and meet at 8:00 a.m. near the picnic tables adjacent to the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center on the grass.  Check the PTC website for full details and complete TriCentric training plan download.  Questions about the training series?  Email us at  This email address is being protected from spambots.
